Grants Pass Heating and Air Conditioning is excited to offer our newest service of supplying and installing the Air Scrubber Plus with ActivePure technology. ActivePure is a certified space technology and was even inducted into the Space Technology Hall of Fame for its achievements in creating an air purification system without the use of Ozone (O3). This system is proven to reduce and even eliminate many of the air AND surface contaminants in your home without creating harmful chemicals.
How does it work?
The Air Scrubber uses UVC light to take regular oxygen and water molecules in the air and turn them into powerful oxidizers as they pass through your HVAC system. These oxidizers then seek out harmful pollutants in your home such as fungi, mold, bacteria, viruses and even allergens like dust and pollen. The oxidizers then destroy these pollutants leaving your air cleaner and safer to live in.

What to expect
Allergy Relief
If you have severe allergies or asthma you may start to see relief for some of your symptoms. Because the scrubber reduces pollutants many of the particles that cause irritation will be cleared from your air and you may experience some respiratory relief.
Odor Elimination
Unpleasant odors may decrease due to the scrubbers ability to deal with bacteria. Greasy smells from cooking, smoke from forest fires, and smells from bacteria in bathrooms, from pets etc. should decrease significantly.
Decrease of Virus and Bacteria
Because the air scrubber kills many forms of virus and bacteria you can feel more comfortable knowing that your home is actively killing many of these pathogens. Aerus has not yet run specific tests on the COVID-19 virus but their test on the similar SARS virus has shown very positive results and they are hopeful that this will extend to the COVID virus as well.
Dust
Some studies have shown that after initial installation you may notice excess dust on some surfaces for a few days. This is just due to the dust and pollen in the air being settled by the oxidized molecules. After a couple of days this effect should clear up and you should start to see less dust in both the air and on surfaces.
Installation
